 Doug & Marsha

Marsha Woolley Ministers in Trussville, Alabama

Church Ministry (March 4 - 9, 2001)
hosted by Pastor Clif Payne and his wife Melanie
     of Trussville Community Church

Trussville Community Church will always have a very special place in my heart because I was privileged to be there from the very beginning.  I remember the first services at the Seafood Chicken Box restaurant when we would have to finish by 11 a.m. because that's when the lunch crowd came.  God was precious then, and I am pleased to say that He was just as precious in every service during the Revival meetings in March.  His power continues to flow in and through the people at TCC.

The Lord led me to pray for a lady sitting in the left half of the church, and also for others.

It was a real treat to have Doug with me for the Sunday service.  He was such a blessing sharing in the opening meeting and then fellowshipping with various members of the congregation.

We had a wonderful lunch in the church after the Sunday morning service.  TCC has the best cooks in the world.

Doug and I are pictured with Pastor Clif Payne and his wife Melanie.  Doug enjoyed getting to know Cliff and was quite impressed with his library of Christian books with a special emphasis on the Jewish background of Christianity.  Being with Melanie was a blast!

We stayed at Clif & Melanie's home.  Their hospitality was out of this world!  Doug and I enjoyed all the little extra things that they gave us to make our stay more pleasant!  We just had to get a picture of it to show everyone!

While at TCC, it was wonderful to spend time with some precious friends: Fred and Kay Ferguson and their beautiful daughters (Andrea, Shanon, and Mary) and their grand-daughter (Madison).  What wonderful miracles God has done in their lives, especially for their adopted daughter Mary (pictured front-center).  She is a living testimony of God's faithfulness.

I was privileged to do a 30-minute radio interview with Mr. Hank Irwin of WYDE.  I was a little nervous at first, but God really helped me and the time just seemed to fly by.  I like radio--you don't have to worry about bad hair days.
