It was wonderful to once again be with
my Canadian sisters in Vancouver. I ministered on the subject of
"Destiny." Friday evening I began the meetings with sermon
entitled, "Women of Purpose." Saturday morning I continued with
"Women of Destiny," and Saturday afternoon I concluded with "Women of Giftings." We had an awesome time together. We laughed a lot; we
cried a lot; and I believe that God changed hearts and lives more than any
series of meetings I've done. I had ladies saying to me, "you were talking
straight to me!" I had to reply, "no, I was talking to me!"
Roz is one of my favorite
people--because what you see is what you get. She loves her ladies
and has a special heart for women's ministry on every level. She's
a terrific wife to Pastor David, a mother to Matthew, and a friend
to me. There's never a dull moment with Roz! And if you don't
believe that, get the video of Saturday morning and view the "slip
incident." |

Of all my ministry friends, Pastor Bob Seymour is one that I
respect the most. He has been a true friend to me and my family in good
times and in bad times. God always seems to have me near him when I'm
facing a crisis, and he and his wonderful wife Joan are full of great
wisdom. Pastor Bob has received a divine impartation from the Lord in
the area of finances. Of all the teachings on finances that I've heard
over the years (I've heard a lot), his is the most sound. There's no arm
twisting--just what the Word of God says. And the results speak for
themselves. God will do what he says.
