Pastor Eddie and Glenda Rodgers are two of my favorite people. Pastor Eddie is "high-strung" and bold as a lion for the Lord, while his wife Glenda is the epitomy of a southern lady--full of charm and grace. Together they pack a powerful punch for the kingdom of God and they have pioneered a dynamic church in Dallas, Georgia.

Saturday morning I taught on "How to Become Fertile Myrtle" using Mark chapter 4 verses 13 through 20.  The ladies ate it up!  It wasn't a jubilant time, but it was a time of deep soul searching.  God has to do a work in us before he can ever do anything through us.  We also had a short time of sharing at the end of the morning, and this opened a door for further ministry and friendship among the ladies themselves as they fellowshipped over lunch.

"It's not enough to know correct information; we have to use that correct information."  We all know that a kiwi is healthier than a Mounds chocolate bar, but as you can see from my hips I don't always use what I know (as I should).  It's the same with God's Word!

On Sunday morning, the message was on Possessing Your Promised Land.  Many came forward for prayer that all the obstacles in their path would be removed and they would possess all that God had for them.
